I’VE BEEN IN YOUR SHOES…
With 17 years of classroom teaching experience, specializing in grades K-4, I am passionate about creating organized and effective learning environments. As a National-Board Certified Teacher, I have dedicated myself to honing my skills as a classroom organization and management specialist. I’ve taught in 3 districts, 2 states, and in urban and suburban neighborhood schools. My classrooms have ranged from a tiny trailer (aka “a portable) without running water or any storage space to a large, freshly-constructed, state-of the-art giant space with a closet large enough to live in.
Since my experiences in the classroom have covered such a diverse spectrum, I’ve had to find solutions to a spectrum of challenges. This has allowed me to relate to so many teachers and the distinct struggles they may face with classroom organization and design as well as classroom management based on location and student population.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of presenting at conferences, providing professional development for elementary schools, and working closely with new teachers as a consultant on classroom design and layout. My expertise extends to creating courses, workshops, and authoring books and articles focused on classroom organization and management, empowering educators to create environments where students thrive. My step-by-step process for decluttering and organizing a classroom has been successfully used by thousands of teachers for over a decade.
